Gonca Karakaş – CEO
Effect BCW Turkey CEO, Gonca Karakaş graduated from Boğaziçi University (BOUN), Department of Political Science and International Relations in 1990 with her thesis on privatization.
She worked as a researcher on Turkey's EU membership. Later, during her five-year banking career, she received an International Finance and Banking MBA degree from Marmara University. She managed the sales agency of Ritz-Carlton and Marriot hotels. Karakaş, who founded the Effect Group in 1994, holds the position of Chairman of Turkey Public Relations Association’s Board of Directors.
