Situation
Owned by Sabanci Holding, EnerjiSA decided to go public in 2018 relying on Turkey’s high potential in the energy industry. EnerjiSA’s IPO was the first public offering in the field of distribution. For the announcement of the IPO, EnerjiSA needed a strong media coverage and management.
Solution
When EnerjiSA turned to us for their IPO communication management, we organized 1:1 interviews and live broadcasts on economy channels and press with EnerjiSA’s CEO Kivanc Zaimler in order to ensure pre-public communication. On January 29th 2018, a press conference was held in Sabanci Center with the participation of economic directors, finance editors of newspapers and sectoral publications and magazines. On February 8th 2018, the public offering of EnerjiSa was held in Borsa İstanbul for the Gong Ceremony of Energy with the participation of Minister of Energy Berat Albayrak , board members of EnerjiSA and the press.
Success
EneriSA’s IPO was successfully managed, with the press conference featured on 57 written press, 392 online news, 13 TV news and had a total reach of 2,792,680. Also the Gong Ceremony featured on 52 written press, 594 online news, 32 TV news and a total reach of 9,235,332.
